What these terms cover
This website, and conversations that start from it. Foliowright is not yet sold. There is no subscription, no licence to accept and no account to create, so there is no service agreement here to bind you to. When there is a product to buy, this page will say so and will carry the terms that go with it.
The measurements on this site
The figures on the home page are real, reproducible, and dated. They come from running the engine over six specific public documents and checking the output in veraPDF (PDF/UA-1) and PAC 2024, build 26.1.0.0.
They are not a promise about your documents. Different producers, fonts and layouts behave differently, and the honest way to find out what yours do is to run them. If a number here turns out not to reproduce, we want to know — tell us and we will correct it.
If you become a design partner
- Nothing is signed, nothing is owed
- There is no contract, no fee, and no obligation to continue. You can stop at any point, for any reason or none.
- Your documents stay yours
- Files you share with us are used only to test and improve the engine against real material. We do not publish them, redistribute them, or train any model on them, and we delete them on request.
- We will not name you without asking
- No case study, logo, quote or reference to your institution appears anywhere without your explicit written agreement first.
- What you get
- Early access, direct influence on what gets built, and the engine's output on your own files. Not a warranty, and not a compliance guarantee.
Accessibility conformance is not a thing we can promise
PDF/UA and WCAG conformance depend on judgements a tool cannot make — whether a description conveys what a figure means, whether a reading order matches the author's intent. Foliowright is built to do the mechanical part correctly and to hand you the rest rather than guess at it.
Using it does not by itself make a document conformant, and it does not discharge any legal obligation you have under ADA Title II, Section 508, EN 301 549 or anything else. Nobody's tool can. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something.
