Privacy Policy

Summary

This website collects nothing. No analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels, no forms. There is no account to create and no session to store.

The Foliowright engine does not send your documents anywhere. It runs on your own machine and, in its default mode, makes no network requests at all. Cyquila LLC never receives, stores or sees a document you process.

What this website does

No analytics or cookies

The site is static HTML and CSS with no JavaScript. Nothing is stored in your browser, and no request is made to any analytics service.

One third-party request, disclosed

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google therefore receives your IP address and user-agent when the page loads, under Google's privacy policy. This is the only external request the site makes, and we intend to remove it by serving the fonts ourselves.

Server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs (IP address, timestamp, requested path) for security and abuse prevention. We do not query them for analytics and we do not build profiles from them.

Email

Mail to hello@foliowright.com is forwarded to an inbox we read. We keep what you send us for as long as the conversation is useful, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

What the Foliowright engine does

This matters more than the website, because it is where your documents are. The engine is a program that runs on your own computer or your own server.

• Local by default. In its default mode the engine makes no network requests. Your PDFs are read from disk, re-tagged, and written back to disk. Nothing is uploaded.
• On-device models stay on the device. The optional figure description model runs locally. It is downloaded once from Hugging Face and then runs offline; your images are never sent to it over a network.
• The cloud path is opt-in, per figure, by a person. If you choose to describe one figure with a cloud model, that single cropped image and the text around it are sent to that provider under your own API key and their terms. It never happens automatically, never in bulk, and never without someone clicking.
• No telemetry. The engine reports nothing back to us — not usage, not errors, not counts. We learn how it is doing because you tell us.

What we never do

• No advertising networks or ad SDKs, in any product.
• No selling or sharing of personal information for anyone else's marketing.
• No data brokers.
• No training any model on your documents.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product grows. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. If the engine ever gains a feature that sends data anywhere by default, that will be described here before it ships, not after.
